Michael and Willow were married and seemed happy. The two of them had kids, and then Willow was diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drew Cain<\/a> (Cameron Mathison) \u201csaved her life\u201d by saving her donor\u2019s life, and then Willow decided Drew was her hero and she loved him.<\/p>\n\n\n She risked her marriage and relationship with her kids to embark on a torrid affair with him. The pair even had sex on the floor of her children\u2019s playroom!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Michael found out about the affair, and all hell broke loose. Long story short: Willow and Michael got divorced, and Drew and Willow forged full speed ahead into a relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n On Drew and Willow\u2019s wedding day, Curtis Ashford<\/a> (Donnell Turner) told Willow that Drew had slept with her mother, Nina Reeves<\/a> (Cynthia Watros).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Willow dumped Drew at the altar. Drew was shot in September. Now, Willow is on trial for the attempted murder of Drew, whom she recently married to prove they are a united front.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n For as long as this story has progressed, we have thought that Willow is the red herring in the story.<\/a> We didn\u2019t believe she shot Drew.<\/p>\n\n\n However, if Willow wasn\u2019t exactly herself when she shot him, maybe that would explain everything. We have to wonder if perhaps Willow is suffering from dissociative identity disorder or something like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yet, maybe she doesn\u2019t even remember shooting him because it wasn\u2019t even her! It could have been an alternate personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One Life to Live showcased a storyline featuring Viki Buchanan<\/a> (Erika Slezak) and her alternate personality, Niki Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Willow agreed to give a false alibi<\/a> to the police the minute she didn\u2019t speak up when Nina lied and said the two of them were out for a walk at the time Drew was shot.<\/p>\n\n\n That said, Willow may have an alter that\u2019s responsible for shooting her husband. Often, when someone suffers from dissociative identity disorder, it\u2019s due to some kind of childhood trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We know that Willow who was raised by a cult called Dawn of Day. Her situation with Shiloh Archer<\/a> (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) definitely caused her plenty of trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n It took Willow\u2019s learning that Drew had an affair<\/a> with her mother to realize that Drew destroyed her life. She had motive, means, and opportunity to shoot Drew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Willow snuck into the Quartermaine mansion<\/a> undetected to gaslight Sasha Corbin<\/a> (Sofia Mattsson) and torment her daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who\u2019s to say she wasn\u2019t experiencing DID at the time? The epiphany that Drew ruined her life may have broken Willow.
