2025 has come to an end, yet several General Hospital storylines that should be wrapping up are not. Instead, fans are heading into the New Year wondering when certain things will end and hoping it will happen soon.

Who Shot Drew
The fact that GH fans still don’t know who shot Drew (Cameron Mathison) is wild, especially since he was back to being Drewfus a second after it happened. Whether it’s Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael (Rory Gibson), or even Scout (Cosette Abinante), just reveal the shooter.
Drew getting shot did nothing to change him or help rid Port Charles of his blackmailing ways. That makes it hard to care about who shot him.

As one fan on Reddit shared, even Drew doesn’t care who shot him. He’s just using it as another weapon against his haters, so why should fans care? Hopefully, once the reveal happens, the payoff will be epic.

Gio and Dante Fighting Over Rocco
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) fighting over teenage Rocco (Finn Carr), who can think for himself even if he is making bad decisions, has got to stop. And so do Gio and Rocco’s forced “supervised visits.”
There can be conflict between Gio and Dante as they find their footing as father and son. But it would be great if it didn’t revolve around Rocco. They should be allowed to develop a brotherly bond on their own. They’ve already made great strides in that area. Either have Gio and Dante make peace, or give them a different reason to be at odds.
Faison’s Final Project
The time has come to end the chaos surrounding Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project and move things along. So far, there haven’t been any significant answers or movement.

What fans would like to know is, where has Nathan been for seven years, and what does he have to do with Faison’s final project? Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Jack (Chris McKenna) are obsessed with the project; clue us in as to why.

Hopefully, the new year will bring answers, reasons, and movement.

Willow and Michael’s Custody Fight
It’s been over six months of Michael and Willow fighting over Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko). One fan on X said it best, writing, “Michael returned in May. Its ridiculous that we’re now headed into 2026 and we’re still dealing with Wiley and Amelia’s custody.”
Ending this custody drama also means revealing the truth about Judge Heron (Tess Auberjonois) being bribed and killed. Willow stalking Daisy would also be revealed. Currently, there are a few loose ends in this story that remain unaddressed.

Other storylines that should be resolved early in 2026 include: Jordan (Tanisha Harper) working for Sidwell, the mystery of who bombed Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse, which badly burned Michael (then Chad Duell). Additionally, the end of Drew’s restraining orders against all of Scout’s loved ones, especially Danny (Asher Antonyzyn).
