In last Friday\u2019s previews of\u00a0The Young and the Restless\u00a0<\/em>for this week, Kyle hinted to his parents, Jack and Diane, that he has a plan of retaliation against Victor \u2014 and it\u2019s connected to\u00a0Matt Clark. Will Kyle use Victor\u2019s AI assault on Matt as a bargaining chip to save Jabot?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle announced his discovery to Jack and Diane on The Young and the Restless<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday\u2019s sneak peek for this week on The Young and the Restless, <\/em>Diane (Susan Walters) asked Kyle (Michael Mealor) about a mysterious bargaining chip. Kyle told Diane and Jack (Peter Bergman) that he learned about someone from Sharon\u2019s (Sharon Case) and Nick\u2019s (Joshua Morrow) past who has returned and is harassing them. Diane asked what this has to do with Victor (Eric Braeden).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is it possible that Jabot Cosmetics\u2019 tech team somehow discovered that Victor used the AI program to wipe out Matt Clark\u2019s (Roger Howarth) finances? If that\u2019s what happened, then maybe Kyle wants to use that information as their bargaining chip. Maybe he is planning to tell Victor, \u201cIf you don\u2019t want us to call the police on you, then stop going after Jabot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That sounds like a good plan, but unfortunately, Victor will probably get the upper hand \u2014 somehow. But we\u2019ve got to hand it to Jabot\u2019s tech team. How in the world did they come upon that information?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victor\u2019s act of desperation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Victor was desperate to save Noah in L.A. on The Young and the Restless <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When Victor was in L.A. with Nick and Sharon, Matt was holding Noah (Lucas Adams) and Sienna (Tamara Braun) prisoner in a storage room. The more time that passed to where Matt refused to free them, the more desperate Victor became. That was why he used the AI program against Matt as a solution to the dilemma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victor had already been using the AI to destroy Cane\u2019s (Billy Flynn) company, Arabesque. A number of characters on The Young and the Restless <\/em>have said that this AI program is illegal. Now that Victor has also used it to wipe out Matt\u2019s finances, that makes two illegal activities that Victor has engaged in with the AI. But no one has the proof that he used it on Arabesque. If the Jabot tech team has proof that Victor used it against Matt Clark, then that means things are about to get very interesting on Y&R! The Abbotts may very well have the upper hand in their battle with Victor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle has now earned our respect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kyle looks like he\u2019s become a whole new man on The Young and the Restless<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kyle seems to have a renewed sense of confidence ever since he cut Claire (Hayley Erin) out of his life. It\u2019s great to see that he\u2019s no longer moping over her and waiting for her to commit herself to him. He seems as though he is now pouring himself into his work and going all out to help his family\u2019s company, Jabot, survive. We have to give him a round of applause for that, considering that he spent months acting like a romantic fool over a young woman who can\u2019t seem to decide what she really wants in life. She still has her eyes on Holden (Nathan Owens), so it\u2019s wise that Kyle finally cut her loose. He did himself a favor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We like seeing this new, self-assured version of Kyle. Let\u2019s hope he\u2019s here to stay. Maybe now, Jack can feel proud that his son has finally gotten his head together, and instead of using his energy to mope, he\u2019s putting it into looking for ways to help save his grandfather John Abbott\u2019s (Jerry Douglas) legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s just hope that Kyle continues to keep Claire in his rearview mirror. We highly doubt that his plan to stop Victor\u2019s attack will work, considering that this is The Great Victor Newman we\u2019re talking about. But we sure hope there\u2019s a good chance that it does <\/em>work. We will keep our fingers crossed!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
