After weeks of tension, he assures Tracy Quartermaine that he won’t cross her and won’t escalate their ongoing power struggle. For Tracy, it sounds like control has finally shifted back into her hands.

But in Port Charles, things are never quite that simple.

What Tracy doesn’t realize is that Martin is already sitting on dangerous information. After overhearing a private conversation between Tracy and Michael, Martin learns a crucial detail: Michael was near the scene around the time Drew was shot. It’s the kind of revelation that could instantly change the direction of the investigation — and Martin knows it.

Rather than confronting Tracy or making a public move, Martin chooses a far more subtle tactic. He sends an anonymous tip to Alexis, offering just enough information to spark suspicion without exposing his identity. The move is quiet, calculated, and devastatingly effective. Suddenly, Tracy and Michael find themselves under scrutiny, blindsided by consequences they never saw coming.

Adding another layer of irony, Tracy becomes convinced that Chase is the one who betrayed her. Her anger is misdirected, placing the wrong person in the crosshairs while Martin remains safely in the shadows. As tensions rise, Martin watches from a distance, his hands seemingly clean.

His promise not to cross Tracy now feels less like a truce and more like a smokescreen. Martin hasn’t stopped playing the game — he’s simply changed strategies.

As the truth inches closer to the surface, the real question isn’t just who shot Drew. It’s how far Martin’s secret will reach once it’s finally exposed — and how much damage will already be done by then.

On the January 7 episode of General Hospital, Martin Greyson seems to wave the white flag.
