Laura arrived at Sonny’s home with a clear agenda and an urgent tone. She believed Jenz Sidwell’s messy situation with Ava and Lucy could be used to shift the power dynamic. Sonny listened closely because he sensed Sidwell’s motives were personal and dangerous.

Their concerns quickly turned toward Avery’s safety and Sidwell’s bold attempts to get under Sonny’s skin. Laura also carried guilt tied to the Henry Dalton disaster and Kevin’s sudden trip to Dublin with Ace. Sonny refused to let her shoulder that weight and reminded her that Sidwell would eventually slip.

Sonny and Laura ended the discussion by invoking Luke’s memory. Sonny felt certain Luke would have known how to cut through Sidwell’s chaos. They agreed to wait and watch, knowing Sidwell’s next move could expose everything.

At the hospital, Britt enjoyed her reinstatement celebration until Brad raised the topic she avoided. He asked where she spent New Year’s Eve, and she reluctantly confessed her night with Jason. Britt admitted the kiss changed everything and almost led to something deeper.

Brad, however, saw the danger clearly. He warned her that Jason lived a life filled with heartbreak, and she would take the fall again. Britt brushed off the warning, but Brad made it clear he would be ready when the hurt arrived. His concern highlighted a pattern Britt refused to break.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Jacinda returned the money Kristina gave her and prepared to leave town. She attempted to keep her last-minute gig secret, hoping to protect herself. Michael pushed for the truth because he believed she knew more about Ezra’s final hours.

Jacinda eventually broke down and admitted she feared losing Michael the moment she stopped being useful. She confessed she kept the truth buried to preserve the connection they built. Michael surprised her by softening and insisting their night together was real to him.

The emotions overwhelmed Jacinda, leading her to fall into a tearful kiss. Michael then pushed her to stay in Port Charles, making everything between them even more complicated.

In Alexis’ office, Tracy burst in and unleashed her fury. She accused Alexis of manipulating the courtroom and embarrassing her. Alexis fired back, insisting Tracy fell for her own ego and that Willow was not the villain Tracy believed.

Tracy, however, dismissed Willow’s innocence and claimed the young woman weaponized every sympathetic moment. The clash exposed the widening divide in their perspectives, with Alexis focused on justice and Tracy focused on the chaos Michael created.

At the Port Charles Grill, Drew and Willow tried to enjoy a peaceful evening. The mood shifted when Carly and Jason walked in. Jason and Carly quietly discussed the growing threat from ADA Turner, who might turn her attention toward Michael next.

Drew eventually approached their table and used the moment to throw several painful reminders. He brought up Danny’s restraining order, then shifted to Willow’s case. He smugly predicted Carly would be locked out of her grandchildren’s lives.

Carly refused to take the insult. She grabbed her drink and splashed it across Drew, leaving him stunned. Willow watched the moment with a cold smirk, revealing how far she had slipped into resentment.

![""]("https://soapoperadaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/30.12.25-GH-Laura-Sonny-1024x614.jpg")
