On the surface, this storyline looks like a brutal threat against Marco after he helped secure Britt’s medication. But once the timing is laid out, the theory becomes much darker. Marco may be the victim, yet Jason could be the true target of the setup. If that is where GH is going, then Cullum is not only trying to silence a problem. He is trying to destroy Jason from every possible angle at once.

The biggest reason this theory feels so strong is the timing around Jason’s arrest. Just as danger closes in on Marco, Dante shows up and pulls Jason away under a WSB warrant. That is not just inconvenient. It is suspiciously perfect. Jason is removed from the scene at the exact moment he might have intervened, protected Marco, or tracked Cullum’s next move. Instead of being in position to stop the crime, Jason is suddenly placed in a position where he could later look guilty, compromised, and unable to explain himself cleanly. In soap storytelling, that kind of timing is rarely random. It usually signals design.

Cullum also has a clear motive to make Jason the scapegoat. Jason has already become a major obstacle in anything involving Britt, the medication, and the larger web of secrets surrounding this crisis. If Cullum simply attacks Marco, that creates one problem. But if he attacks Marco and successfully points the fallout toward Jason, he solves several problems at once. He eliminates a weak link, creates legal chaos for Jason, and throws the people around Jason into confusion and doubt. A setup like that is far more useful than a straightforward act of violence, because it weaponizes the aftermath.

Marco is also the ideal victim for this kind of trap. He matters enough that his injury or death would cause emotional devastation, but he is not so untouchable that the attack would feel impossible. He is vulnerable, exposed, and directly tied to the medication theft. That makes him believable as Cullum’s immediate target. At the same time, Marco’s connection to Alexis, Lucas, Britt, and indirectly to Jason gives the incident multiple routes of fallout. If Marco is found stabbed, shot, or left for dead, the story does not stay contained. It spreads. That is exactly why he is the perfect victim if the real objective is to engineer maximum damage around Jason.

The office setting makes the theory even sharper. Marco is at a law office, a place connected to Alexis, where a violent scene would immediately raise questions about who was there, who had access, and who might have been seen nearby. This creates a perfect environment for confusion, planted evidence, and false assumptions. Some fans have even speculated that Alexis could end up discovering the aftermath, which would deepen the horror and make the setup even messier. If the wrong clue is left behind, Jason could be drawn into the center of the investigation before he even understands what Cullum has done.

Jason’s earlier hesitation with the rifle adds another layer of tragedy to the theory. He had Cullum in his sights but did not take the shot. There were understandable reasons for that hesitation, including Brennan being in the line of fire and Jason’s own split focus over Danny and the WSB pressure closing in. But in dramatic terms, that missed opportunity now looks like the exact beat GH needed. Jason fails to stop Cullum when he has the chance, then gets pulled away, and only after that does Marco face the full danger. That sequence practically screams setup. It turns Jason’s restraint into the very thing that may allow Cullum to frame him.

The emotional construction of Marco’s scenes also supports the idea that he is being used as a sacrificial piece in a bigger game. His tender moment with Lucas, the declarations of love, and the talk about a future all feel like classic foreshadowing. GH did not have to make that scene so warm and hopeful. The writers chose to do that because the contrast matters. The happier Marco seems, the more devastating the attack becomes. And the more devastating the attack becomes, the easier it is to explode everyone connected to him, especially Jason. Marco’s romance may be the emotional bait that makes the trap hit harder.

What makes this theory especially explosive is that it would place Jason under pressure from all directions. Lucas would be shattered and desperate for answers. Britt would be drowning in guilt because Marco was endangered through helping her. Alexis could be pulled into the legal and emotional nightmare if the crime scene is tied to her office. Dante could find himself forced to follow procedure against someone he knows may not be guilty. And if the WSB is already circling Jason, a violent incident like this could become the perfect excuse to tighten the noose. That is why framing Jason is smarter for Cullum than simply attacking Marco and walking away.

There is also the Sidwell factor hanging over everything. If Cullum acts without permission, or worse, crosses a line by harming Marco, the fallout may not stop with Jason being framed. Sidwell could retaliate brutally, which would shift the storyline from one calculated attack into a war inside the villain camp itself. That possibility makes the theory even more compelling, because it means Marco’s suffering would not just wound the heroes. It could destabilize the entire power structure behind the threat. In other words, Cullum may think he is making a clever move against Jason, only to trigger a much bigger collapse.

In the end, the darkest possibility is that Marco is not the real target at all. He is the weapon. The true objective may be Jason’s destruction, using Marco’s blood as the evidence, the motive, and the emotional bomb all in one. That is what makes this theory so chilling. GH may not be telling a simple story about a villain attacking a vulnerable man. It may be telling a story about how one brutal act can be engineered to ruin several lives at once. And if Cullum pulls it off, Jason will not just be too late to save Marco. He may be forced to carry the blame for losing him.

General Hospital may be setting up a far more twisted disaster than a simple attack on Marco, because the real endgame might be to turn Jason into the perfect fall …

[1

post-7143","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
