What looked like guilt or emotional weakness may actually have been GH quietly revealing that Cassius is already preparing to turn against Sidwell and Cullum from the inside.
The biggest clue was not simply that Cassius admitted he had fallen in love with Nathan’s life. It was the way he talked about it. Instead, this is starting to look like a full psychological identity crisis where Cassius no longer knows whether he wants to be himself… or become Nathan permanently.
That is why many viewers now believe GH is quietly building a double-agent twist. Cassius could continue pretending to work for Sidwell while secretly feeding information to Josslyn and Dante behind the scenes. The accidental “slips” during his conversation with Joss may not have been random at all. They may have been the first signs that he is already testing whether he can trust her enough to betray the people who created him.
