NINA FINALLY GIVES SONNY DREW’S DARKEST SECRET — THEIR OLD ALLIANCE COULD BE THE ONE THING DREW NEVER PLANNED FOR

Drew Cain may have made the biggest mistake of his entire revenge campaign when he chose Nina Reeves as his fall guy. With Brennan gone and the WSB closing in, Drew has already planted Brennan’s wallet in Nina’s car, creating exactly the kind of evidence that could send investigators straight toward her. But Drew may have overlooked one dangerous problem: Nina knows far more about his secrets than Sonny Corinthos does.

That could change very soon.

GH spoilers have Sonny offering to help Nina as the pressure surrounding Brennan intensifies. The timing matters. Nina is also set to crack under pressure, while Sonny’s next move involves trying to get information from Justine. Those beats create the perfect opening for Nina to finally stop protecting information that could turn the entire investigation back toward Drew.

And Nina has plenty to tell Sonny.

For months, Drew has been trapped inside a web of secrets involving Willow, Nina and Brennan. Willow admitted to shooting Drew, then later revealed just how far she had gone against him, including the paralytic-drug scheme that dragged Nina into the evidence trail. Yet Drew could not simply expose everything without risking damaging information about himself coming out too.

Brennan understood that vulnerability.

That is the detail Nina could finally put in Sonny’s hands.

If Nina explains that Brennan possessed leverage capable of keeping Drew quiet, Sonny suddenly has a completely different way to look at Brennan’s disappearance. Instead of accepting the WSB’s emerging case against Nina, Sonny could ask the question Drew desperately needs everyone to ignore:

Who actually benefited from Brennan being silenced?

Nina certainly had reasons to despise Brennan, but Drew had something much more dangerous at stake. Brennan knew where the pressure points were. He knew about the secrets surrounding Drew and Willow, and Drew’s own questionable financial issues created another vulnerability that could become devastating if the wrong person started following the trail.

That gives Sonny somewhere to dig.

It also makes his upcoming attempt to get information from Justine far more interesting. Sonny does not need Nina to hand him proof that Drew planted Brennan’s wallet. He only needs enough information to realize that the evidence against Nina is almost too convenient — and that Drew had his own reasons to want Brennan permanently removed from the equation.

But Nina may already possess another clue without realizing how important it is.

After Drew and Ava became entangled in the aftermath of Brennan’s disappearance, Nina noticed something strange about Ava: a tick. She specifically questioned whether Ava had been in the woods. At the time, it seemed like a tiny detail buried beneath a much larger story.

Now it looks completely different.

If Brennan’s wallet suddenly appears inside Nina’s vehicle while Nina remembers Ava returning from somewhere wooded, she has two pieces of information that should never comfortably exist together.

Why is evidence connected to Brennan pointing toward Nina when Ava was the one carrying a physical trace of a trip into the woods?

Nina does not have to know the complete answer.

She only has to tell Sonny.

That could be where Drew’s plan begins collapsing from both directions.

Ava is also set to confront Drew, which creates another serious problem for him. Drew may believe framing Nina protects the people actually connected to Brennan’s disappearance, but Nina is Ava’s friend. If Ava realizes Drew decided to sacrifice Nina without her consent, their alliance could fracture at exactly the moment Drew needs Ava silent.

Suddenly, Drew would have Nina asking questions, Sonny following the information, Ava confronting him and the WSB investigation moving around all of them.

That is not the controlled outcome Drew thought he created when he planted the wallet.

It is a trap slowly turning back toward the man who built it.

Sonny also has reasons to take Drew seriously that go beyond Nina. He has already recognized Drew as a threat to Michael and the Corinthos family, so helping Nina does not require GH to suddenly turn their alliance into a romantic reunion. They already have something more immediate connecting them.

A common enemy.

Nina knows Drew’s secrets.

Sonny knows how to apply pressure.

And Drew has just given both of them a reason to stop fighting separately.

The most dangerous moment for Drew may therefore have nothing to do with Baines finding Brennan’s wallet. It could come afterward, when Nina finally sits across from Sonny and tells him what Brennan knew about Drew — and why Drew had every reason to fear that information getting out.

Drew thought planting the wallet would make Nina the target.

Instead, he may have just reunited the two people capable of turning every secret he buried into a weapon.

Drew framed the wrong woman.
