Chase has everything going for him on General Hospital—and yet he’s close to throwing it all away. If he isn’t careful, he could lose far more than he realizes.

Chase Is Getting Too Close
Anna (Finola Hughes) has noticed it: Chase (Josh Swickard) is growing a little too protective of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). He’s become the person she leans on when things get rough—and he seems to like being that for her.
Willow doesn’t have a big support system, and her past choices haven’t helped. She’s shut people out, clashed with family, and gone through a breakdown. In that vacuum, Chase stepped up. He’s loyal, steady, and present—exactly the qualities Willow gravitates toward. But the more he inserts himself, the blurrier the lines become, and the more trouble he invites into his own life.
Professionally, the timing couldn’t be worse. Chase is still tied to the “Who Shot Drew?” case, but his judgment isn’t as sharp as it should be. Anna wants to support Willow, but she also needs an objective detective. If Chase keeps compromising the boundaries, she may have no choice but to pull him off the case.
Chase Could Blow Up His Marriage

Chase and Willow once loved each other deeply, but she left him for Michael (Rory Gibson). Chase was devastated, then eventually fell for Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). They married and, for a while, it looked like their happy ending. Then came real challenges: they learned Chase is infertile—crushing news—and soon after discovered that Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is BLQ’s son from a teenage relationship with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
Any marriage would feel the strain, and while Chase and BLQ tried to stay strong, new pressures keep piling on. They’ve talked about adoption so they can start a family, but BLQ isn’t ready yet. At the same time, Brook Lynn is wrapped up in Gio’s world, and Chase is spending more time with his ex. Old emotions can resurface fast.
Willow naturally seeks someone who makes her feel safe, and Chase falls right into that role. None of this is healthy for his marriage. BLQ and Chase are fan favorites, and nobody wants to watch him drift back toward Willow—but that’s exactly where this is headed unless he pulls back now.
