Josh Kelly isn’t one to shy away from speaking his mind, especially when it comes to life at General Hospital. The actor also has no trouble shutting down rumors when necessary.
He Didn’t Put A Ring On It
Speaking with Woman’s World, Kelly (Cody) happily gushed over his time on the ABC soap. First, though, he addressed a crazy rumor that he married former GH star Chloe Lanier (Nelle).
“We are not married. There are several articles out there saying we are, so I’ve had several aunts get very mad that they weren’t invited to the wedding. I had to be like, ‘Nope, I promise you’re invited, if and when it happens,’” he shared with the outlet.
Lanier and Kelly went public with their romance in 2024 at the GH fan event. The actress was on hand at this year’s fan event, too. Lanier and Kelly posed with the ladies in Cody’s life, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Ava (Maura West).
The couple may not be walking down the aisle anytime soon, but Kelly did reveal another fun way they could get hitched without making it legal. Kelly suggested that Nelle is really alive, and she and Cody should get married because Nelle will be Nelle Bell.
“We would love that,” he joked.
In all seriousness, Kelly is Lanier’s biggest supporter and would happily have her back on the ABC soap. Right now, though, he’s cheering on his other half as she begins a new project that he’s keeping secret.
Kelly also makes it clear that he’s perfectly happy with the “rom com” that is Molly and Cody. Not only is it a fun storyline, but Kelly loves working with Vaganos.
These two are a slow burn, but as SoapHub reported, they are the couple that daytime so desperately needs right now.
